![]() ![]() You can steal with multiple chars and as Chaos said, just run for a bit, then come back. There's a sneak cone button that shows you where the red areas are, and you can see when it's safe to steal. You can get companions to talk to wandering NPCs and make sure they are looking away from your mark to narrow sneak cones. Thievery is amazing I stole half a million gold in three hours in Arx yesterday. I actually think 4 characters is more fun because it gives you more storylines and builds to play with, however.Originally posted by danbjp:'the timer starts when you take something'Īctually the timer starts when you've finished the theft. Running 2 lone wolf characters will make the game significantly easier than running 4 characters without it. Some things to make the fight easier (though it will still be very hard at level 2):ġ) You can win one of the NPCs in the area over to your side by flirting with her.Ģ) Exploit the high ground to get a damage boost.ģ) If you're really desperate, it is possible in this game to "hit and run": kill a one or two, run away and get out of combat, then kill the rest.Ĥ) Lone Wolf is an overpowered talent in this game. ![]() I'm pretty sure it's possible to get to level 3 without doing any fights-but there are easier fights to gain xps like the turtles on the north beach (which I totally missed on my first playthrough), or the skeleton that you can dig up in the north-ish area if you have a lizard or a shovel. I recommend waiting till level 3, or avoiding the fight entirely by cooperating with Griff and ratting out the thief. This is a game where you can and will find things that are too hard, and you should go try something else. You want to level up by trying to do as much exploration/noncombat quests as possible. The beginning of the game is the hardest part, and not just because you are still learning the mechanics. Note:Both cheese methods are easy ways to kill Griff and his gang, but will most likely get the Elf prisoner killed unless you're really careful woth the placement. That instakills any non-undead creature so just place it in Griff's kitchen and destroy it. >Cheese method #2: Before escaping the lady vengeance you can take a deathfog barrel with you. Use Ifan to ignite the barrels and they should die from the explosions + fire damage. You can place them one by one (I think?) or put them all in a chest, that you can break to release all the barrels at once. >Alternative cheese method: Go around the map and collect barrels (Oil and poison). >If you did the teleporter croc quest and have the gloves you can keep the bigger threats away from your party. Also, he'll have a hard time against your whole party since he lacks AoE so it's better to leave him until the end. ![]() Griff is a rogue so he's bursty and will likely take a turn off due to adrenaline. >In my run i focused on the low armor rogue and the mages first. >Before the fight speak with Butter and she'll help you during the fight. Her rain also reveals invisible enemies, so it's useful against Griff's chameleon cloak. >Get ifan on high ground and have Lohse focus on CC (Hail strike + rain). >You should be level 3 for this fight unless it's not tactician.
